Case Study 1 – Cardiff and Vale College for Jubb Consulting Ltd
Cardiff and Vale College was completed in 2016. The design has won several prestigious awards including the Welsh Architecture Award 2016 and RICS Design Through Innovation Award. My task was to capture the context, structure and detailing of the design and to draw out the design concept and ethos through photography.
The images are initially being used for the new Jubb website but are also intended to be used for a range of promotional purposes for current and potential clients. See the project page on the Jubb Website
Case Study 2 – Clytha Castle in Monmouthshire for the Landmark Trust
Clytha Castle is a Grade 1 Listed Historic Building, part of the Landmark Trust’s portfolio of holiday homes. It was built as a folly in 1790 before falling into disrepair and refurbished by the Trust from 1974.
I was required to produce a series of external and internal images, in overview, context and detail, sympathetic to the character and heritage of the property that would enhance its appeal to potential visitors. This commission is part of an ongoing relationship with the Landmark Trust.
Case Study 3 – BAE Systems Exhibition at Farnborough Air Show for M-IS
BAE Systems is one of M-IS PLC’s major clients. Both the Farnborough Air show and the DSEI Exhibition at the ExCel Centre in London are BAE’s key events that showcase their business to the International Defence Industries.
I have been commissioned to photograph their work over the last 4 years at both Exhibitions and this example is from the Farnborough Air Show 2018. This commission is part of an ongoing relationship with M-IS

My task was to capture the context, structure and detailing of the design and to draw out the design concept and ethos through photography.
The images are initially being used for the new Jubb website but are also intended to be used for a range of promotional purposes for current and potential clients. See the project page on the Jubb Website
Case Study 5 – Beddegai Holiday Home for Holiday Lettings PLC (for Trip Advisor)
Beddegai is a converted Farmhouse in the Brecon Beacons in Wales. See Nigel Forster’s approach to photography of a Holday Home.
This commission was part of a series of commissions undertaken on behalf of Holiday Lettings Ltd in 2016-17.
The brief required a range of images illustrating both the exterior and interior of the property including context in its environment, photography sympathetic to the heritage and traditional style of the property and a set of images that would encourage and invite visitors.

“Following our Company rebranding we required corporate project photography to add more vibrancy and stance to our new website. From the outset Nigel clearly understood our needs and had an excellent approach on how we could achieve what we desired. Nigel remained professional throughout with excellent communication and creative ideas. We are looking forward to continuing our relationship in the future and would have no hesitation in recommending Nigel Forster Photography to others”.
Marcus Tulloch, Director (Jubb Consulting) August 2018
“After some four successful years of working together, Nigel continues to capture precisely the scale and impact of the environments that we create. Briefing and familiarisation are no longer essential, Nigel steps foot onto our sites and gets straight to work. Recognition for this has extended to our clients, all welcoming Nigel’s presence on site and ensuring that access and opportunities are given to all areas of the site. Results as ever are phenomenal, achieving images that you wouldn’t imagine were feasible.
Thanks again Nigel, looking forward to the next one”.
Andrew Bolton, Project Manager (M-IS) August 2018
