Architectural and Building Interiors Case Study: Beddegai Farmhouse Holiday Home
Beddegai is a converted Farmhouse in the Brecon Beacons in Wales. See Nigel Forster’s approach to photography of a Holday Home with this Case Study from 2016.
This commission was part of a series of commissions undertaken on behalf of Holiday Lettings Ltd in 2016-17.
The brief required:
A range of images illustrating both the exterior and interior of the property including context in its environment.
Photography sympathetic to the heritage and traditional style of the property
A set of images that would encourage and invite visitors.
A welcoming, bright airy feel to the property.
My response to the brief:
A mix of close-up and wide views to demonstrate both space and attention to detail.
An impression of interior space within the accommodation.
An inviting look of comfort and a light airy feel to the property.
Strong use of the trees and other vegetation around the property to add context and an ‘intimate’ enclosed feeling.
Panoramic shots were used on a number of the exterior profiles to emphasise the scale and context of the building.
